Pioneer Foundation - Nepal (PFN) is a nonprofit organisation based in Kathmandu, Nepal established with an aim of contributing for the upliftment of marginalised, backward and impoverished communities and individuals.
It was founded and is run by professionals-successful in their respective trades-from various walks of life, all of whom hail from a rural background. Having seen the hardships endured by rural populace due to lack of awareness, education and money we got together to establish PFN with an aim to contribute our knowledge, expertise and network for the welfare of the needy ones.
We plan to run various programmes in education, health,
environment and sanitation and livelihood to transform the lives of the suppressed people for better.
Through our programmes, we plan to enroll children unable to go to school for various reasons to school, run awareness campaigns in the communities losing lives due to diseases as simple as diarrohea and help get clean drinking water, and run vocational trainings and rehabilitate women forced to adopt sex or related trade as their profession because they cannot get a better job, among others.
Registration and accreditation
We are registered as a non profit organization at the Office of the Company Registrar, Kathmandu,
Registration No. 133509/071/072 .We had to register at the Company Registrar's Office as a company, instead of a social organization, as Nepal government is not registering new social organizations at present.
We are also duly registered at the Government Tax office, Government ,
PAN No. 602485867. We are accountable to Nepal government and its concerned agencies for all our activities. We duly pay tax for all financial transactions we carry out and our accounts are audited by auditors recognised by Nepal government. All our decisions, programmes, and transactions will be transparent and posted online as and when occurs.
